FIFTH GRADERS GET “WIKIFIED”

    Fifth Grade students researched owl species and created informational posters, owl wheels and power point presentations to display their knowledge. During Computer class to further showcase their research, the students in Mrs. Heilbronn’s, Mrs. Gallagher’s, Ms. Sorrentino’s, Mr. Doctor’s, Mrs. Murphy’s and Mrs. Schneider’s classes have uploaded their research onto a special Cottage Lane Owl Research Wiki created just for them. Each owl species has its own page on the wiki where students have contributed information and pictures about the owl that was researched. The students learned that a Wiki is a collaborative website and an encyclopedia. Anyone can edit and/or add information to the articles.
