Wind is moving air and it is caused by the change of air pressure.

We measure wind by the speed of it. Also, by the wind chill. A wind chill is how cold mammals feel when they’re outside. If the temperature is 59 degrees and the wind is moving at 8 miles per hour it is going to feel like 49 degrees.

The Beaufort scale doesn’t measure wind speed. It explains wind conditions. The numbers are 0-12. 0 means less than 1 and 12 means 64 and higher. 1 is calm and 12 is a hurricane.
