The book Alien Vs. Predator is about a corporation named Weyland Industries that puts up a sattelite that orbits the earth. As soon as its up there its notices a heat spurt in antarctica. After a week of researching it they find out that its a pyrimid built under the ice. So the owner Charles Bishop Weyland puts together a team to see whats in there and find out who built it find out how old it is ect. Charles Bishop Weyland is a rich billionare who makes money on his robotics. The team that Charles Bishop Weyland puts together consists of ten people, Alexa Woods, Sebastian De Rosa, Maxwell Stafford, Adele Rousseau, Graeme Miller, Joe Connors, Rusten Quinn, Tohmas Parks, Mark Verheiden, and of course Charles Bishop Weyland. Alexa Woods is an enviormentalist she has a enviormental group that she funds by taking people on expiditions on the arctic. Her Job is to make sure that the group is safe because they've never been in the arctic kind of weather. She is the main character. Sebastian De Rosa is an archeologist. He Discovers that the pyrimid was built by three civilizations. He gets all exited because this find would change history. Rusten Quinn is the family man and is always taking pictures of the antacrtica to show his family. When they get in danger by the Aliens and the Predators he vows that hes gonna get home safely to his family. Adele Rousseau is part of the security side of the team team. She was trained not show or have fear. Shes the tough person of the group or team, whatever you want to call it. Max Safford is Charles Bishop Weylands second in command. But once they get in danger from the Aliens and the Predators you see Max Stafford's other side to him. He becomes much more emotional and at the same time more aggresive. The rest of the crew is mostly scientists or the security part of the team. As they get into the pyrimid they see skulls and skeletons. The fist room they get into they named the sacrificial Chamber. They named it that because they saw skeletons laying on rock beds all in a circle. There were no ropes tying them down so the team expected the ancient people thought it was a honor. There were holes in each of their chests, Adele Rousseu pointed out. "It is common to take the heart out during sacrifices" Mark Verheiden said. Adele Rosseu replied "Thats not where the heart is and besides that the ribs are broken outward somthing came out of there chests" The Alien life cycle starts out with the Queen Alien. (Much bigger than a full grown Alien) She lays eggs. Out of the egg comes a Face Hugger. A Face Hugger only lives a short time. It latches on to the face of its victim and puts it in a coma. While the person is in a coma it lays an egg inside its throat. After an hour or so the person wakes up fine. Then a chestburster ripps out of their chest. (The time period it takes for a Chestburster to come out varies) After the Chestburster is free it forms a cacoon and turns into a full grown Alien. That is what happend to the dead people in the sacrificial chamber. So as the Scientists start to explore they start getting killed by the Aliens and the Predators. Aliens look about seven feet tall and they each have long heads that look like black bannanas and have bony fingers. A very sharp tail, and acid blood. Predators are about six feet tall. They have masks and dreadlocks. Without there masks they have four Pincer-like mandibles. They see with heat vision and can turn almost invisible. There equiped with retractable blades that come out of there right arms and on there left arm is a self-destruct bomb in-case they are about to die everything there comes with them. They also have a circular blade that they can throw and in-case of close combat they stab the enemy. Then the only peole left are Alexa Woods and Sebastian De Rosa. They later find out why the Aliens and Predators are fighting. They are fighting because the way Predators become men is by killing an Alien. So basicly three Predators are put inside this pyrimid and fight for there survival. Once they become men they earm there guns wich they mount on there shoulder and shoot their enimies. Two predators get killed by Aliens. So does Sebastian De Rosa. So Alexa Woods and the Predator have to team up to survive. The predator takes off his self-Destruct machine and starts it up and leaves it on the ground. The Predator and Alexa Woods makes it out of the pyrimid alive but something is still alive afther the explosion. I don't want to ruin the ending. I love the idea and it was a very intresting book. The book was more than two hundred pages. I highly reccomend this book to Alien or Predator fans.
