This book must've been the greatest book of all times. I enjoyed every minute of someone like you and wasn’t happy when the book ended! This book was basically about a girl named Halley. She had a best friend named Scarlet. This book takes place when Halley gets home from this all girls camp that her mother makes her go to. The first place she goes to right after she gets home from camp is to Starlet’s house. When Halley gets there, Scarlet is crying. It turns out that Starlet’s boyfriend Michael had died that night or that day. He had a horrible motorcycle accident. Then, just a little bit later on, a few days or so later, Halley meets Macon. Macon was Michael's best friend. They start liking each other and the start going out. Halley's parents are not thrilled of the idea at all, because Macon is sort of a "bad influence." He does not attend school a lot of the time, and he goes out to parties that contain drugs and alcohol. But Halley does not care, all she cares about is that she loves him and that's all there is to it. Then, about three weeks later, it turns out that scarlet is pregnant with her and Michaels baby! After telling Halley, she has to tell her mom, too. Scarlet mom wants her to get an abortion, but scarlet doesn't do what her mom tells her to, she keeps the baby. Then she meets a guy who helps her out with her pregnancy. Rubbing her feet, being with her almost 24/7. But then the Prom comes. Halley does not go with Macon because they break up after a terrible accident that happened. (They had a car accident and Halley got hurt so bad she had to go to the hospital) But the prom just begins and Scarlet goes into labor! They have to quick get her to the hospital, and then she has a girl. Named Grace Halley.
I really enjoyed this book and I recommend it to anyone at all!
