Review:
Bobby Pendragon is basically a normal fourteen year-old boy. He has a family, a home, and great friends. But there is something very great about Bobby. He is going to save the planet.
And not just Earth as we know it. Bobby is slowly realizing that in the cosmos is not at all like thought it was. And before he can object, he is swept off to an alternate dimension known as Denduron, a place inhabited by odd beings, ruled by a magical yet evil king, and burdened by a dangerous revolution.
If Bobby ever wants to see his family again, he is going to have to accept his role as savior, and exept it fully. Because he is gradully discovering, Denduron is only the beginning.
This book is one of the best I have ever read. It has tons of action, a bit of comedy, and even a touch of romance. As Bobby narrorates the story you feel right along side him. I think that the author (D.J. MacHale) found just what kids would want in a book. The only problem with the book is that it is pretty long and it is a little hard to understand but, if you have time to read it than it turns out to be a great book that you will never want to put down. This book is part of a ten book series. it is the first one so if you want read this series start here. I am on the fourth book right now and I cannot put it down. I would recomened this book to reader who want more action than in Harry Potter books.
