Review:

Walk Two Moons was an outstanding book that was very deeply emotional and had lots of suspense.  Although it was sort of a sad book it was still very good. I liked how the characters acted and showed strong emotions.

This book is about a girl named Sal whose mother leaves on a bus and the bus gets into an accident and Sal goes to find her mother and her belongings but there are none. She only finds her mother's grave site. Sal has a friend named Phoebe whose mother also leaves. There were mysterious messages left by Phoebe's door and she thought someone kidnapped her mother. But it was her neighbor, an old lady, who cut messages out of the newspaper and left them by her door.

Throughout the book there were family problems, as when Phoebe's Mom runs away and remarries leaving Phoebe with her dad. At the end of the book Phoebe's mother comes back.

I really like the mini quotes in the book, especially this one, "Don't judge a man until you've walked two moons in his moccasins."  This means don't judge a person until you've met them and know what their life is like. I liked how the author inferred these quotes into the book and how the author made totally different personalities for each person. For instance, some characters were very weird and mysterious while some were very messy and disorganized.

I thought Walk Two Moons was an awesome book. I really enjoyed it.
