MAKE A COMMENT
I love hearing from you! You have great comments and questions! Keep them coming!
Each new entry I make is called a "post". Each time I make a new post, with a new topic, there is a green comments link at the end of that post. Clicking on that link puts your comment at that post. You don't have to scroll all the way down to the beginning of the blog to post a comment.
For example, if you want to comment on The Royal Show, find the comments link at the end of that post, but before the Alpaca post. You'll have to scroll slowly and keep your eyes open for the green comments link. That way you can find your post again later, AND you can read what others have to say about the same topic.
New pages are being added, and new comments are coming in all the time, so I hope you'll visit this site often! The more people who add comments the more fun it is to read!

Hi Ms.CB!
I am sooooo nervous! Winter is here, and I know that I will have to get a flu shot,I just don't know when! I HATE flu shots!!!!!!!!!! Do like to get a flu shot?
From:Asproutagus
hola i say hi you don't know who i am now. Now I will tell you. I am olivia's sister. :) i say hi again. how is new zeland? hi again again!
Asproutagus,
I think most people get a little nervous when they have to get a shot. When I used to take my son to get his flu shot we would always stop at the farm to get a homemade doughnut on the way home. That way he could put all his energy into thinking about the doughnut. The flu shot was over in a snap! Good luck!

Olivia's Sister,
What's your name? Thanks for coming to the Blog again. I LOVE New Zealand. My mother-in-law has just arrived from England to spend the holidays with us. It will be fun to show her around! Hope you're enjoying 4th grade!

Hi Ms. Christie-Blick,
This is your former teammate, Mrs. Connors. I want to tell you how much I am enjoying your blog and it's down home appeal (and I do mean down!)
I will write to you soon.
Mrs. Connors,
Thanks for visiting the blog! Did you see the cows?!? :)
You and Mr. Connors would love New Zealand. Why don't you hop on a plane and come for a visit?! We're here until July 1 (although I'm scheduled to go to Tonga for my last school visit in June).
Ms. C-B
Hi werent you supposed to be teaching Mrs.haeilbronns and mrs.Earlys classes for science? Im Ethan from mrs.heilbronns class.
Hi Ethan,
Thanks for visiting the blog. No, I was not supposed to be teaching that science class. I was not assigned to any teaching team since Mr. Fiorentino knew I'd be in New Zealand this year. I do miss teaching, though, and look forward to being back at Cottage Lane next year. In the meanwhile, I'm getting a lot of new ideas while visiting other teachers' classrooms. The best part about teaching is that there's always more to learn!
Ms. C-B
hi ms.cb i forgot to tell you im the class president of mrs.heilbronns class!
hey its Ethan again how is the water in new zeland? Are there sharks and jellyfish? Is the water clear? Can you see through the water?
Ethan,
Congratulations on being elected class president! I'm sure you'll handle the job very responsibly.
Good questions about the water. The Pacific Ocean, off the coast of New Zealand, is very cold. All of the surfers wear wet suits. A few people have been in swimming, but I haven't yet. I hope it gets warmer as we get further into summer. January and February are the warmest months in New Zealand.
The water at the beach is a beautiful turquoise color on a sunny day. The water is not very clear because the waves churn up the sand. I have not heard of any shark sitings since I've been here. Most types of sharks (and jelly fish) prefer warmer water, so they hang out around Australia and the Pacific Islands instead. These countries are closer to the equator, and so they're warmer.
There are penguins in the southern part of New Zealand, but when I was visiting that area a few weeks ago they had already finished nesting and had gone back out to sea. I didn't see even one :(. I'll try again later in the season.
I HAVE seen whales, dolphins, and seals, however. Should I put some photos of them on the blog site? Do you think kids would want to see them?
Ms. C-B
Are you having a good time in New Zelend? Is it fun in New Zelend?
thank you for the answers mrs.cb. I have seen jelly fish before in ocean city new jersey.I even saw a sand shark there it was dead though. It was being carried by a seagal.New Zealand sounds great but i am too scared to go on a plane trip.

Yes
Ethan, I hope some day you'll go on a plane trip for two reasons: 1)There are so many exciting places to see in the world that you'll never see if you don't fly there; 2)Plane rides are lots of fun - great views if you get a window seat, free food, free movies, and some even have free video games now!
Ms. C-B
